A butcher from Austria is teaming up with a pig farmer from Denmark to bring high quality meats to foodies in Salt Lake City and beyond.
Christian Christiansen and his wife Hollie raise Berkshire pigs on a small farm in Vernon, Utah. Their philosophy and farming approach has led to a partnership with Salt Lake City’s most well-known butcher, Chef Frody Volgger.
Salt + Smoke Artisan Meats is a new endeavor for the Christiansens and Frody, who have made names for themselves in Utah independent of each other. But their dedication to working together for a common good has already attracted a steady stream of customers and fans of their new business.
